The X-Men slot isn’t a new slot. It was released in 2010. However in terms of design and graphics, it can still compete with some of the newest online slot machines. Bonus Features

X-Men slot machine has 2 bonus features: The X – Feature and the Free Spins. The X-Feature is rather simple: when you get 5 hero symbols to create an X shape on reel 2,3,4 – you will get paid x5 the total bet size. It’s actually more of a special combination then a bonus game.

Free Spins

This is the main bonus feature of X Men and it is really cool and usually rather rewarding. The Free Spins feature has 2 modes: Villains mode which gives you 8 spins and Heroes mode which can go unlimited number of spins.

As you play, you can go back and forth between the modes. You will start with the Unlimited Heroes mode. If you get the Villain’s wild symbol on reel 3 – it will take you to the limited one. Then if you get the Hero wild on reel 3 – you will be taken back to the Unlimited version and so on.

I can’t say that I ever had an Unlimited number of free spins (or I wouldn’t be writing this review), but it really can go for some time.

You can win an entry to the Jackpot game at the end of each spin, no matter how much you bet. However Playtech do state that higher bet size increases your chances.
